Rev. Dawn Vukich
VICAR
Rev. Dawn Vukich is the sixth Vicar named to lead Faith Episcopal Church in Laguna Niguel, having been installed officially to the position on August 19, 2018.
Dawn was ordained to the Anglican Church in 2005 and served at St. James, Newport Beach for three years. Since 2015, she served as an interim priest for Faith Episcopal Church before being named Vicar. Rev. Dawn earned her Master of Divinity (M.Div) at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA.
In addition to providing pastoral care and ministering to Faith’s members and visitors, Rev. Dawn is engaged in interfaith and homeless services throughout South Orange County as well as Diocesan ministries.
In 2019, Rev. Dawn earned certification as a Stephen Leader, initiating Faith Episcopal Church as a member within Stephen Ministries, a nationwide, one-on-one program which provides high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Faith Episcopal Church Bishop’s Committee
The Bishop’s Committee is the governing body of a mission congregation.
Members are elected at an Annual Meeting in January and serve a three-year term.
The Bishop’s Warden is appointed by the Bishop at the recommendation of the Vicar while the People’s Warden is elected by the members of the Bishop’s Committee, who oversee the financial and business affairs of the congregation as well as its development and vision.
